HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons and the Golden Tigers met for the second time this season with Tuskegee winning their first game over the Falcons in series history with a 4-2 victory.
Montevallo scored their two runs off home runs from Matthew Furuto and Tyler Krabbe. Furuto hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, while Krabbe's solo home run came in the top of the eighth inning.
The Falcons gave up four runs in the game with all four being credited to Justin Whitley, who started on the mound for Montevallo
Whitley (2-1) recorded the loss, his first of the season, in the 4-2 defeat. Whitley threw 6 1/3 innings and gave up eight hits and recorded six strikeouts.
Tanner Koch entered the game in relief and threw 1 2/3 innings and struck out two while giving up one hit.
