MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Montevallo men's basketball team put an end to a four-game losing streak with a thrilling 68-67 win over Lee University in a Gulf South Conference contest Jan. 6 at Trustmark Arena.

The Falcons (7-8 overall, 2-4 in Gulf South Conference) erased a four-point deficit in the final 1:30 and junior Jamar Gilbert knocked down the go-ahead 3-pointer with 26 seconds remaining to lift Montevallo to victory.

Montevallo outrebounded the Flames (9-5 overall, 4-3 in Gulf South Conference) 38-30 in the contest.
