HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore Kyle Enkelmann scored the Falcons' first goal on an extra-man opportunity with 8:38 remaining in a low-scoring first period, which saw the Lions leading 2-1 after the first 15 minutes.
- Freshman Thomas Vaesen scored the first of his two goals with 8:20 left in the second period, but Lindenwood outscored the Falcons 4-1 in the frame to carry a 6-2 lead into the break at halftime.
- The Lions scored five more goals in the third period to push their lead to 11-2.
- Vaesen scored his final goal with 2:38 remaining in the contest off an assist from freshman DeAndre Archie.
- Lindenwood scored six goals in the final period to secure the 17-3 victory.
