MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
·        Kelsey Vining was 3-of-3 against the Hurricanes and scored three times and also drove in two runs.
·        Darbi Duke, Haley Barnette, and Dylan Bailey had multiple hits for the Falcons in the game. Bailey also drove in two runs to add to her stat line.
·        Mychael McMillan was credited with the win in the game for being the most effective pitcher. McMillan pitched two innings and allowed just one hit and struck out two batters.
HOW IT HAPPENED
·        The Falcons got on the board when Mariel Bertossi bunted to bring Darbi Duke around to score the first run of the game.
·        Kelsey Vining doubled down the left field line to drive in two runs and then later stole home to give Montevallo a 4-0 lead.
·        The Hurricanes plated a pair of runs in the top of the third inning to make it a 4-2 ball game.
·        Montevallo added a run in the bottom of the third and another run in the fourth to push the Falcons lead to 6-2.Â
·        The Falcons plated two runs in the fifth inning to lead the Hurricanes 8-2.
·        The Falcons were able to enforce the run rule in the sixth inning after Dylan Bailey doubled to left center to drive in two runs and seal up the 10-2 victory.

·        Haley Barnette went 2-of-3 from the from the plate and also had an RBI.
·        Kelsey Vining also went 2-of-3 with an RBI and also scored two runs for the Falcons.
·        Dylan Bailey went 3-of-3 and had three RBI for the Falcons and also had a home run in the game.
HOW IT HAPPENED
·        Montevallo plated six runs in the bottom of the opening frame to take an early 6-0 lead.
·        Dylan Bailey singled through the left side to plate Kelsey Vining and make it a 7-0 ball game.
·        Bailey hit a home run in the fifth inning to put an end to the 9-0 shutout of the Hurricanes.
