GAME NOTES

  • The Falcons were held to just 33 percent shooting on the night and went 23-of-70 from the floor. 
  • The rebound margin was close in tonight's game with Mississippi College holding the lead over the Falcons in that category.  The Choctaws outrebounded the Falcons by the slim margin of 39-33.  However, despite the Falcons best efforts they were unable to keep the Choctaws off the defensive glass.  Mississippi College grabbed 34 defensive rebounds and only had five on the offensive side.  Montevallo was more evenly balanced and had 15 offensive and 18 defensive rebounds.
  • Mississippi College dominated the low post in the game and outscored the Falcons 32-18 in the paint.
