HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hokanson scored five of the Lions' first seven goals to help Mars Hill take a 7-3 lead with 14:42 remaining in the first half.
- Pahnke, Hudak and Endelmann each scored a goal down the stretch in the first half as the Lions carried a 10-6 lead into halftime.
- Back-to-back goals by Pahnke and Hudak helped the Falcons' trim the deficit to 10-8 with 22:58 remaining in the match.
- Hudak scored a goal off an assist from Kaminski with 6:24 to tie the contest at 13-13, and Kaminski again tied the match at 14-14 following a goal assisted by Caleigh Spoon with 26 seconds remaining in the match before Hokanson scored the game-winner for Mars Hill with 12 seconds left.
