MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
- Seven different Falcons recorded hits for Montevallo with Caleb Ledbetter's two-RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning being the hit that sealed the victory for the Falcons.
- Ledbetter was 1-of-4 from the plate and had three RBI in the game.
- Jason Cryar also recorded an RBI in the game and went 1-of-4 from the dish.
- Cas Silber (7-3) threw a nine-inning complete game shutout in today's outing. Silber struck out 12 batters on his way to his seventh victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the bottom of the first inning, Caleb Ledbetter drove in his first RBI of the game on a groundout that scored Collin Dupree to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead.
- Jason Cryar drove in the Falcons' second run of the game to make it 2-0 on a single that scored Sebastian Samuels.
- Ledbetter sealed the 4-0 victory with a single down the left field line that plated Cryar and John Michael Reed.

Game 2
MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
- Jared Nixon was the only Falcon to record multiple hits in today's game. Reed was 2-of-3 from the plate in game two against the Blazers.
- Alex Pondick (4-1) got the start on the mound for the Falcons and threw 4 1/3 innings of work in his first loss of the season.
- Crit Rudkin and Kale Latorre saw time on the mound in relief in the second game of the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Collin Dupree put the Falcons on the board in the first inning when he scored on a passed ball to make it a 1-0 game.
- Valdosta State put three runs across in the second inning to take a 3-1 lead over Montevallo.
- Chad Wagner had a solo home run into left field to cut the Blazer's lead to one run, 3-2.
- Valdosta State scored the final two runs of the game to put it away with a run in the fifth and another in the sixth inning to seal the 5-2 victory.
