HOW IT HAPPENED
6' |Â Freshman Romee Contreras collected an attempt deflected by Spring Hill goalkeeper HP Fluharty and fired it into the back of the net for a goal assisted by junior Michaila Franklin and sophomore Samara Lino to give the Falcons an early 1-0 lead.
54' |Â Franklin assisted again on the Falcons' second goal in the contest when she crossed the ball through the box to sophomore Allye Darnell, who blasted a shot past Flaherty on the back side of the frame.
54' |Â Darnell scored for the second time within the span of one minute when she attacked down the right side of the field and fired a shot past Flaherty to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead.
56' |Â Contreras scored her second goal of the contest after receiving a cross from Darnell and planting a shot past Flaherty to push the Montevallo lead to 4-0 on its third goal in a three-minute span in the second half.
GAME NOTES
·       Montevallo scored a season-high four goals in the contest against the Badgers.
·       The Falcons finished with a 28-4 advantage in shots attempted in the contest, including a 14-1 edge in shots on goal.
·       The Falcons held a 18-0 advantage in shots attempted in the opening half of the match, including a 9-0 edge in shots on goal.
·       Montevallo ended the match with a 9-0 advantage in corner kick opportunities.
·       Freshman Romee Contreras has now scored four goals in the past three matches for Montevallo during a three-match scoring streak.
