  • The Falcons scored 96 points against the Buccaneers, the most points scored in a game since Feb. 20, 2002 when the Falcons scored 103 against Miles College.
  • Montevallo also set a program record, scoring the most points ever in a first quarter after jumping out to a 35-15 lead at the end of the first period.
  • The Falcons dominated in the paint with a 62-24 advantage, and the Montevallo bench outscored its counterparts 47-16 in the contest.
  • Montevallo opened the contest with a 20-5 run, capped with a layup by sophomore Kiya Sain with 4:32 remaining in the first period, before the Falcons ended the quarter with a 35-15 lead.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's basketball team defeated Christian Brothers University 96-59 at home in a Gulf South Conference contest Jan. 12 in Montevallo, Alabama.
 
The Falcons scored 96 points in todays contest, the most points in a game since Feb. 20th 2002 when the Falcons scored 103 against Miles.
 
The Falcons set a program record scoring the most points ever a first quarter with 35.
 
The Falcons dominated in the paint with a 62-24 advantage and the Montevallo bench outscored its counterparts 47-16 in the contest.
 
Montevallo owned a 48-32 rebound advantage, including a 9-5 edge in offensive rebounds.
