MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo Men's Soccer Team fell to the University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers 1-0 at Georgine Lemak field in Montevallo, Alabama.
After over 70 minutes of scoreless play, and several chances, the visiting Chargers found the back of the net off the foot of Rafa Moreno to lead 1-0. The Chargers would hold on to the 1-0 lead, topping the Falcons.
Montevallo fell to 5-5-1 overall and 3-2 in Gulf South Conference play, while the Chargers improved to 4-5-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the GSC.

GAME NOTES
- Montevallo senior Robert Kuta earned the start at goalkeeper and made three total saves in the loss.
- The Falcons were held scoreless for the first time in six games. Sophomore Ruben Carvalho registered a team-high two shots. Carvalho and senior Logan Buckley each posted a shot on goal.
- UAH edged the Falcons 20-7 in total shots and 4-2 in shots on goal.
- UAH totaled seven corner kicks compared to just two by the Falcons.
- There were five cautions in the match, three to the Falcons and two to the Chargers.
