  • Mississippi College enters the match 7-17 overall and 2-6 in GSC play. The Choctaws have dropped six straight matches.
  • Montevallo is currently in fifth place in the GSC, sitting at 6-3 in the conference, and MC is in 9th in the GSC at 2-6. The Falcons are one game behind Union University (Tenn.) for fourth in the GSC, and one game ahead of Auburn-Montgomery for sixth-place; while the Choctaws are one game out of a tie for the final two spots in the upcoming GSC Championship.

  • Senior Brioni Dixon leads the Falcons and is seventh in the Gulf South Conference with 257 kills. The senior leads Montevallo and ranks fourth in the GSC with a .309 hitting percentage. Dixon is also averaging 2.76 kills per set.
  • Sophomore Savannah Roys leads Montevallo in assists this season, having totaled 861, the most of any setter in the GSC. Roys ranks third in assists per set with 9.16.
  • On the defensive end, Skyler Sieber is averaging 3.50 digs per set this season, with 294 total digs on the season.
  • Dixon also leads the Falcons in total blocks with 93 on the season.
  • Michaela Henderson has also found success this season, having totaled 27 service aces to lead the Falcons.
