SERIES HISTORY
  • Last Meeting: Montevallo fell to West Georgia in three sets (25-23, 25-13, 25-21) in a non-conference match at the UAH Classic, Sept. 7, 2019. Evelina Teran led UM with eight kills. McKenna Wharton and Tierra White had 111 and 10 kills, respectively, for West Georgia.
  • Montevallo is 4-1 since 2009 when playing in West Georgia's Coliseum.
  • The Falcons are 6-1 since 2013 against West Georgia, including 3-0 in GSC action.

  • The winner of tonight's match will sit in third place in the Gulf South Conference standings.
  • Montevallo enters the day on a five-match win streak, including four-straight GSC wins. 
  • West Georgia is 3-3 in its last six matches, losing at home to Alabama Huntsville on Friday, Nov. 1, a match that could have placed the Wolves second in the GSC had they won.
MONTEVALLO LEADERS
  • Senior Brioni Dixon leads the Falcons and is 10th in the Gulf South Conference with 278 kills. The senior leads Montevallo and ranks third in the GSC with a .317 hitting percentage. Dixon is also 10th in the GSC with a kills average of 2.78 per set. 
  • Sophomore Savannah Roys leads Montevallo in assists this season, having totaled 942, the most of any setter in the GSC. Roys ranks third in assists per set with 9.33, having played in 101 sets.
  • On the defensive end, Michaela Henderson leads UM with 319 total digs, while Skyler Sieber is averaging at team-best 3.41 digs per set this season with 310 total digs.
  • Dixon and Hannah Fernandez are both closing in on 100 total blocks. Dixon has 99, while Fernandez's career-high 10 blocks against Valdosta State on Nov. 1 raised her season total to 93. 
  • Henderson also leads the Falcons with 29 service aces. 
WEST GEORGIA LEADERS
  • McKenna Wharton leads the GSC with 50 total service aces, while teammate Madi Fleming is sixth in the conference with 29. 
  • Tierra White leads the Wolves with a GSC-best .396 hitting percentage and 307 total kills. Her 3.57 kills/set is second in the GSC.
  • Madi Fleming's 10.07 assists per set are also atop the GSC statistics leaders.
