  • The Falcons closed the 2018-19 regular season with a win over Delta State in Trustmark Arena, 57-54, on February 28, 2019. It was Montevallo's first win over the Statesmen since upsetting DSU, 72-60, to win the 2004 Gulf South Conference Tournament Championship.
NEWS & NOTES
  • Montevallo begins its third season in the Gulf South Conference since its return from the Peach Belt in 2017-18.
  • The Falcons are 2-0 in GSC home openers since returning to the conference.

  • The Falcons' 3-2 record this year all comes against teams in the NCAA Division II South Region, going 1-1 against Sunshine State Conference teams and 2-1 against SIAC teams so far.
  • After this weekend's conference play, UM will travel for three more regular season non-conference games before Christmas with return trips to Tuskegee (Nov. 27), Clark Atlanta (Dec. 4) and Miles (Dec. 7), as well as exhibition at UAB on Dec. 14.
