SERIES HISTORY

• The teams met three times in the calendar year of 2018 after taking more than 20 years off in the series. The first meetings were in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
• This is only the second time the teams have met in the fall semester, with the first such meeting coming last season. Montevallo won that game 76-64.

• Shyan Flack has two double-doubles in the first three games for the Falcons. She is averaging 16.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game so far, and she has a field goal percentage of .617.
• Kiya Sain has the only other double-double for the Falcons - it came in a matchup with St. Leo University - and she 15.2 points per game with a team-leading total of 12 steals and a perfect 16-for-16 mark from the foul line.
• Freshman point guard Marisa Snodgrass has made her mark early in the season as well. She is scoring 9.0 points per game, and she had a team-best 23 assists and a 1.8-to-1 Assist-to-Turnover Ratio
• Paige Ward has made a team-leading eight 3-pointers in the first five games, and she also has 10 steals.

MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE

• Coco Hobson has a pair of double-doubles - including an 18-point, 18-rebound performance in the Choctaws' season opener against the Belhaven University Blazers. She is averaging 13.3 points and a team leading 9.8 rebounds per game.
• Zariah Matthews is the leading scorer for Mississippi College, scoring an average of 15.8 points per game, and she is 7-for-14 from long range. She is the only Choctaw to have made more than one 3-pointer on the season.
• Mikeba Jones is shooting 51.3% from the floor on the season, and she is averaging 14 points per contest.
• Moriah Hurst also had a double-double in the season opening win over Belhaven, and she is averaging 11.8 points per game with a field goal percentage of 51.2%.
