Streaks: Montevallo is trying to right the ship after a late-season slide of just one win in its last six matches (1-4-1). However, the Falcons did earn a critical point in the GSC standings when they drew, 1-1, with Lee at Georgine Lemak Field. Union won its last match, traveling to Oakland City and earning a 3-1 non-conference victory, to stop a streak of two straight conference losses.
NEWS AND NOTES
- Montevallo and Union are both fighting for spots in the GSC Tournament, which starts Nov. 12 at campus sites. Montevallo is currently seventh with 13 points, but is only one point ahead of Union and Spring Hill, which are tied for eighth with 12 points. Only the top eight teams in the conference standings qualify for the postseason tournament.
- Montevallo is 3-5 away from home this season while the Bulldogs are 4-2 at the Smith Memorial Soccer Complex in 2019.

MONTEVALLO
- Vladik Margolin leads the Falcons in goals (five) and points (12) on just 10 shots, six of which have been on goal.
- Nemanja Acimovic (four goals) and Fausto Castillo (three) have also found the back of the net multiple times for Montevallo.
- Ruben Carvalho has a team-high four assists as well as leading the team in shots (45, 4th in the GSC) and shots on goal (21, seventh).
- Rob McNeal has logged 1,480 minutes this season for UM, tops among the Falcons' field players.
- Robert Kuta has played 1,484:05 in goal, allowing 24 goals, making 57 saves and posting five shutouts for the Falcons.
UNION
- The Bulldogs' offense is paced by Gavin Scott, who has a team-high seven goals and 18 points. He also leads Union in shots (33), shots on goal (19) and match-winning goals (three). Scott has pitched in four assists as well.
- William Valencia leads Union with five assists, but also has a pair of goals and nine points in 2019. He is second on the team in shots (29) and shots on goal (14) as well.
- James Jackson and Felipe Firmino also have three goals apiece for the Bulldogs.
- Iudy Lopes leads the Union field players in minutes played, having logged 1,211 minutes on the pitch this season.
- Euan Morton and Casper Nyberg have split time in goal for Union, with Morton making 31 saves and allowing 16 goals in 736:12 of work and Nyberg stopping 24 shots and yielding 12 goals in 562:37.
