  • Montevallo won three straight matchups in the series between Sept. 30, 2017 and October 27, 2018.

NEWS AND NOTES
  • Montevallo enters the the night a half-game behind Union (Tenn.) for an opening round bye in the upcoming GSC Championship. The teams are technically third and fifth in the standings, however, with the University of West Georgia sandwiched between them, percentage points ahead of the Falcons.
  • Union is coming off a 3-1 win over Alabama-Huntsville on Friday night, and their last two matches of the season are against teams on the outside looking in on the GSC Tournament picture.
