SERIES HISTORY
- Montevallo has won three of the last four meetings between the Falcons and the University of West Georgia, including taking back-to-back games in 2012 and 2013.

- Montevallo is off to its best start to a season since 1995 as the Falcons head into Tuesday's contest with a 7-1 record. The Falcons are currently riding a four-game winning streak after dropping a non-conference game at Tuskegee, 88-81, on Nov. 15.
- Marisa Snodgrass is leaving her mark early into her freshman year as the Hazel Green native was named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week on Dec. 10. The honor came after scoring a career-high 16 points in the Falcons' 63-50 victory over Lane College on Dec. 7.
- Shyan Flack will look to record a double-double in Montevallo's third straight game as the sophomore from Brewer High had 19 points, 12 rebounds against Stillman on Dec. 4, then 11 points, 10 rebounds on Dec. 7 against Lane College. For the season, the sophomore forward has been credited with four double-doubles.

WEST GEORGIA
- Since losing at Fort Valley State, 68-76, on Nov. 12, West Georgia has averaged 90.7 points per game in its six wins, including a streak of four games with 90-plus points scored.
- While Taylor Brown, who hasn't started a game for UWG this season, is leading the Wolves with a 13.9 points per game clip, Ashley Lee is leading the team with 9.2 rebounds per game mark to go along with her 13.6 scoring average through nine games.
- The second half has provided to be the different for West Georgia so far this season. Through nine games, the Wolves are outscoring their opponents, 204 to 175, during the third quarter and 201 to 166 throughout the game's final 10-minute quarter. Overall, UWG has outscored its opponents 756 to 623 to head into Tuesday's matchup with UM sporting an 8-1 record.
