HOW IT HAPPENED

• Montevallo took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning when junior Brianna Stella scored on an error by the Sharks.
• The Falcons added two runs in the top of the third inning to take a 3-0 lead when Stella scored on a RBI single by junior Haley Barnette and junior Holly LaForce scored on a RBI single by senior Lady Sarah Federico.
• Montevallo plated six runs in the top of the fourth inning to push its lead to 9-0, with RBI singles by Stella, LaForce and Barnette highlighting the frame.
• Senior Abbey Pratt pitched around a single and recorded one strikeout in the bottom of the fifth inning to close out the run-rule victory.

• Sophomore Carlee Mullinax went 1-for-3 at the plate.

• Sophomore Mychael McMillan picked up the win in the circle in relief after allowing one unearned run on one hit with one strikeout in two innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Spring Hill took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning when Hannah Brenton blasted a two-run homer down the left-field line.
• The Falcons tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the second inning when sophomore Alexis Cortez and senior Marisa Sosa scored on a RBI single up the middle by freshman Brooke Ingram.
• The Badgers took a 3-2 lead on a RBI single by Carlisle Jamison in the top of the fourth inning.
• Montevallo took a 4-3 lead when junior Brianna Stella scored on a RBI single by junior Haley Barnette and junior Holly LaForce scored on a RBI sacrifice fly by senior Lady Sarah Federico in the bottom of the fifth inning.
• Spring Hill tied the game at 4-4 in the top of the seventh inning on a RBI sacrifice fly by Caroline Hart before the Falcons walked off with the win in the bottom half of the frame when Stella scored on a RBI single by Barnette.
