HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons scored two runs in the top of the second inning on a pair of errors by the Bucccaneers to take a 2-1 lead.
• Senior Lady Sarah Federico gave the Falcons a 4-1 lead in the top of the third inning with her RBI sacrifice fly.
• Junior Holly LaForce lined a double into right center field to help Montevallo extend its lead to 8-2 in the top of the fourth inning.
• Montevallo plated 10 runs in the top of the fifth inning, capped with a three-run triple down the right-field line by sophomore Carlee Mullinax.

• Sophomore Carlee Mullinax finished 1-for-1 at the plate.

• Senior Amanda Ingram registered the complete-game victory after allowing just one unearned run on three hits with eight strikeouts and no walks.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a RBI single by junior Holly LaForce and a bases-loaded walk issued to senior Marisa Sosa.
• Christian Brothers scored its lone run in the  bottom of the first inning.
• Brooke Ingram lined a RBI single into left field to give the Falcons a 3-1 lead in the top of the third inning.
• Montevallo plated two more runs in the top of the sixth inning to push its lead to 5-1 on a RBI double by LaForce and a RBI sacrifice fly by senior Lady Sarah Federico.
• The Falcons plated their final run on a RBI single by junior Mariel Bertossi in the top of the seventh inning.
