HOW IT HAPPENED
- West Georgia took a 4-0 lead, capped with an RBI single by Brody Wortham in the top of the first inning.
- The Wolves led 5-0 in the top of the fourth after a solo homer by Lane Griffith.
- The Falcons plated their first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning on an RBI single by freshman Ty Wooton, scoring junior Sebastian Samuels.
- Freshman Brennan Ferguson homered to left-center field and plated two runs for Montevallo, trimming the deficit to 7-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- Junior Chance Foss scored on a wild pitch, trimming West Georgia's lead to 7-4, later in the inning.
