• Montevallo wins its fifth consecutive GSC series with a 2-1 series win over West Georgia, despite dropping game three.
• Freshman Ben Teel went 2-for-3 at the plate, while scoring one run.
• Freshman Ty Wooton finished 2-for-4 from the plate with an RBI.
• Freshman Brennan Ferguson finished 1-for-4 from the plate with a home run and two RBI.
• Junior Chance Foss went 1-for-4 at the plate, while scoring one run.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• West Georgia took a 4-0 lead, capped with an RBI single by Brody Wortham in the top of the first inning.
• The Wolves led 5-0 in the top of the fourth after a solo homer by Lane Griffith.
• The Falcons plated their first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning on an RBI single by freshman Ty Wooton, scoring junior Sebastian Samuels.
• Freshman Brennan Ferguson homered to left-center field and plated two runs for Montevallo, trimming the deficit to 7-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning.
• Junior Chance Foss scored on a wild pitch, trimming West Georgia's lead to 7-4, later in the inning.
