HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's lacrosse team fell on the road at Alabama-Huntsville 21-3 in a Gulf South Conference match April 17.
Freshman Anja Kuys scored two goals to lead the Falcons, who fell to 6-8 overall and 3-4 in Gulf South Conference play.
Junior Sydny Dudley added one goal. Sophomore Elizabeth Tyler finished with a team-high five ground balls.
Senior Irfana Ahmed recorded 11 saves in the contest.

1st (21:23) | Megan Hartnett scored a goal off an assist from Sophia Fiorino to give the Chargers an early 3-0 lead.
1st (21:11) | Freshman Anja Kuys scored the Falcons' first goal, unassisted, to trim the deficit to 3-1.
1st (4:05) | UAH scored nine unassisted goals to push its lead to 12-1 late in the opening half.
1st (1:40) | Kuys scored her second of two unassisted goals in the opening half.

- The Chargers outshot the Falcons 40-7 in the contest, including a 32-5 advantage in shots on goal.
- Montevallo finished with 23 turnovers, compared to 11 turnovers by the Chargers.
- UAH successfully cleared 13-of-14 attempts, while the Falcons cleared 6-of-16 attempts.
- The Chargers finished with a 35-15 advantage in ground balls and controlled 14 draws compared to 12 draws controlled by Montevallo.
