HOW IT HAPPENED
  • West Florida took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a bases-loaded walk.
  • Montevallo tied the game 1-1 in the top of the third inning when junior Chance Foss scored on a RBI sacrifice fly by senior Khari Anderson.
  • The Argonauts regained the lead in the bottom half of the frame, plating two runs to lead 3-1.
  • The Falcons added another run in the sixth inning when junior Sebastian Samuels singled to center field, scoring senior Tyler Krabbe, to trim West Florida's lead to 3-2.
  • Junior Ryan Brooks doubled in the eighth inning, scoring Krabbe, to tie the Argonauts 3-3.
  • Later in the frame, freshman Ty Wooton singled through the left side scoring Brooks and freshman Ben Teel, to take a 5-3 lead over West Florida. 
  • The Argonauts plated three runs in the bottom of the eighth to take a 6-5 lead over the Falcons.
UP NEXT

The Falcons will host Valdosta State University in a GSC series this weekend beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday April 6.
