• The Falcons open conference play on the road at Valdosta State.
• Montevallo enters conference play 2-1-2 overall on the season. The only blemish on the schedule for the Falcons this year is a 3-1 loss to Louisiana Tech University.
• Montevallo enters the match on a two game win streak fowling a 3-0 win over Tampa and a 2-1 win against Florida Tech.
• Valdosta State enters the conference opener 2-2 on the season and are currently on a two game win streak following a 2-0 win over Young Harris and a 2-0 win over Albany State.
• The Blazers are 0-1 at home this season. This will be the first true road contest of the season for the Falcons. Montevallo is 1-1-0 on the season in neutral site matches.

TEAM LEADERS

MONTEVALLO

• Annie Mason leads the Falcons defensively this season with 24 saves and only two goals allowed. Mason is the GSC leader in goals against average (.450), save percentage (.923) and is tied for the lead in the GSC in shut outs (2). Mason has twice been named the GSC Defender of the Week this season.
• The Falcons offensive attack is led by a group of seven players that all scored one goal this season. Senior Tylor Ring, juniors Kira Bochard and Alye Darnell, sophomores, Medhali Hernandez, Romee Contreras, and Melanie Stevens, and freshman Kaeri Ward have all found the back-of-the-net once this season.
• Senior Michaila Franklin leads the Falcons in assists this season with two.
• Ward leads the Falcons in shots-on-goal with eight so far. Sophomore Medhali Hernandez has put up a team-leading 23 shots this season.
• Stevens, along with juniors Hannah Waki and Christiane Malone make up a back line that has played over 1,300 minutes this season. Waki leads the way with 470 minutes so far. The Falcons defense, along with the keeper Mason, has only allowed two goals to NCAA Division II opponents this season.

 
VALDOSTA STATE

• The Blazers are led by Riley Tennant and Ashley Lewis who have each scored two goals this season for the Blazers.
• On the defensive end, Caroline Embler leads the Blazers in goal with 19 saves and only two goals allowed.
