SERIES HISTORY
- The two teams squared off just seven days ago with Montevallo earning a 71-61 victory. During the game, Aaliyah Rice scored a team-high 18 points, while Shyan Flack recorded a double-double with 13 points and a career-high 17 rebounds.
- The last time Montevallo beat West Alabama in back-to-back games came on Dec. 8, 2012 and Nov. 23, 2013 when the Falcons won 59-58 and 76-68.
- Montevallo has not won in Livingston, Ala., since earning a 59-58 win on Dec. 8, 2012 when Alex Strickland grabbed an offensive rebound and scored the game-winning basket with four seconds remaining in the game.

- Last time out, Marisa Snodgrass scored a career-high 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including making all four shots behind the 3-point arc and both free throw attempts. Her previous high was 16 points at Lane College on Dec. 7 when she connected on four 3-pointers and made six baskets in 32 minutes.
- Speaking of Snodgrass, the freshman from Hazel Green, Ala., collected her fifth Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week honor this week. The GSC has awarded 10 Freshman of the Week honors so far this season and Snodgrass has earned half of them.
- Senior Shyan Flack has made 118 of 228 field goals through 18 games so far this season. Flack's 51.8 shooting percent leads the team and ranks fifth among eligible players in the conference.

WEST ALABAMA
- Joining Flack near the top of the field goal percentage standings among GSC players is West Alabama's Tazsa Garrett-Hammett, who has made 101 baskets in 181 attempts for a 55.8 shooting percent through 17 games. Overall, Garrett-Hammett ranks ninth in the league with a 15.5 scoring average.
- In 10 games at home this season, West Alabama has posted a 7-3 record, including a 2-3 mark against GSC teams.
- After losing to Montevallo last Thursday night, West Alabama went on to beat West Florida in Pensacola, Fla., 65-48 with Garrett-Hammett scoring a game-high 21 points and bringing down 12 rebounds. Bria Dent also had a double-double against the Argos with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
