SERIES HISTORY
- Montevallo is currently riding a two-game winning streak in the series after taking two contests in January 2019. First, the Falcons knocked off the Warhawks, 49-46, on Jan. 3, before beating AUM, 61-56, on Jan. 19.
- AUM holds the longest winning streak between the two teams when the Warhawks won nine consecutive games from Jan. 13, 1994 to March 6, 1997.
- Montevallo has only won three straight games over AUM once in the series, which all came during the 1993 season.

MONTEVALLO
- Montevallo capped the 2010 decade with an 84-83 win at Shorter University on Dec. 21, 2019. The win gave the Falcons their sixth consecutive win, which was their longest winning streak of the decade. UM's previous longest winning streak was four — on two different occasions – during the 2012-13 and 2018-19 seasons.
- Shyan Flack will enter the 2020 calendar year in fifth place among Gulf South Conference players in scoring average. Flack has scored 174 points in 10 games for a 17.4 average. Christian Brothers' Brynne Lytle leads the conference with a 20.4 scoring clip.
- Montevallo is fifth in the GSC with a plus-11.4 scoring margin. The Falcons are averaging 79.2 points per game, while allowing only 67.8 points to their opponents.
AUM
- Victoria Morales leads all Warhawks with a 11.9 scoring average through 12 games. Jordan Brewster is close on her heels with a 11.5 mark. Catlin Carter rounds out the AUM trio of double-figure scorers with a 10.9 average.
- Overall, AUM has dropped six of its last eight games, including each of its five GSC games so far this season.
- Through 12 games, AUM is 11th in the GSC with a 59.5 scoring average, while fifth in the conference in defense by allowing opponents to score only 60.7 a game. However, the minus-1.2 scoring margin is 10th of 13 teams in the conference.
