SERIES HISTORY
- The last time Montevallo and West Florida met, UWF earned a 69-62 win over Montevallo on Feb. 23, 2019 to split a two-game season series after the Falcons won 72-56 a month prior.
- The two teams played twice during the 1967-68 season but did not meet again until Nov. 9, 2013 when UM won 82-67. Since resuming the series, each team has won three games.

MONTEVALLO
- Montevallo enters Monday's contest against UWF with a 6-2 record in games played inside Trustmark Arena. The Falcons split the GSC/SSC Challenge with a win over Tampa, before falling to Saint Leo. UM has also picked up home wins against Clark Atlanta, Tuskegee, Delta State, Mississippi College and AUM.
- Last time out, junior guard Xavier Malcom scored a season-high 26 points in a 75-72 overtime win for Montevallo against AUM. Malcom, who played all 45 minutes, was 8-of-12 shooting, including connecting on five 3-point baskets and sinking five free throws.
- For the first time all season, Wade Lowman was held to single digits in Montevallo's last game. In 30 minutes against AUM, Lowman scored only six points on 2-of-7 shooting to snap a streak of 12 consecutive games in double digits to start the 2019-20 season.

WEST FLORIDA
- The University of West Florida have alternated its wins and losses during Gulf South play this season. The Argonauts opened with a win over Union, then dropped games to Christian Brothers and Lee before beating Alabama Huntsville and losing to Valdosta State.
- Jon Brown paces UWF with a 21.2 scoring average in nine games this season. Brown has scored in double figures in every game he's played in, while scoring a season-high 31 points against Spring Hill College on Dec. 7. Brown had a streak of six-straight games of 20-or-more points earlier this season.
- 64 is the key for West Florida. In its five wins this season, the Argonauts have scored 64-or-more points in all five games. In UWF's seven losses, it has failed to reach the 60-point mark five times.
