SERIES HISTORY

• In four all-time meetings, Montevallo has never beaten Union University in Montevallo.
• All-in-all, Montevallo has not beat Union since Dec. 4, 1992 when the Falcons won,72-69, in Tennessee.
• In the two victories over Union, Montevallo's margin of victory has been 3.5. UM won, 85-81, in 1989 and then 72-69 in 1992. Those games were the only time Montevallo has had consecutive games in the series history.

MONTEVALLO

• After being snubbed for her sixth GSC Freshman of the Week honor recently, Snodgrass will have the opportunity to go against Union's Shanique Lucas, who has picked up the honor in back-to-back weeks. For the season, Snodgrass is averaging 9.6 points, 4.1 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals a game, while shooting 41.5/39.7/80.0 for the season.
• Montevallo is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time all season after dropping road games at Lee University (92-61) and the University of Alabama in Huntsville (73-68).
• Shyan Flack remains one of the top scoring threats in the conference as her 16.4 scoring average ranks her sixth in the GSC. Through 22 games this season, Flack has scored 361 points — 153 field goals, seven 3-pointers, 48 free throws — in 668 minutes played.

 
UNION

• Union features one of the most recently productive freshmen in the entire GSC in Shanique Lucas, who is coming off her second consecutive GSC Freshman of the Week honor. She has picked up the honor three times this season, which is second most by a freshman behind Montevallo's Marisa Snodgrass, who has been named as the honoree five times.
• Union has not lost since Saturday, Jan. 18 when it was upended, 69-66, in overtime at Mississippi College. Prior to that, the Bulldogs had only dropped one game — 71-67 at Lee on Saturday, Jan. 4 — since Monday, Nov. 18 when it fell, 67-58, at Central Missouri.
• Union enters Thursday's game with a plus-19.2 scoring margin through 23 games. The Bulldogs, on average, score 80.5 points a game, while holding opponents to only 61.3 points a contest.
