  • Montevallo and Christian Brothers split the last two games played in Montevallo with the Bucs winning, 80-69, on Jan. 12, 2019 after the Falcons won, 74-60, a year earlier on Jan. 18, 2018.
  • Montevallo has a 1-2 all-time record against Christian Brothers in Gulf South Conference games with its first conference win over the Bucs coming earlier this season.
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

MONTEVALLO
  • Cedric Jackson returned to form last time out as the senior scored his first 20-plus point game since dropping 20 at Christian Brothers on Saturday, Jan. 11. His 23 points against Union on Thursday, Feb. 13 was the fifth time Jackson reached the 20-point mark this season, including back-to-back 20-plus point games against West Georgia and Shorter in late December.
  • A win for Montevallo would snap an eight-game losing streak that dates back to the last time the Falcons played Christian Brothers on Saturday, Jan. 11. Montevallo enters Saturday's game as the eighth-place team in the conference with a one-game lead over Christian Brothers.  Including Saturday's game, Montevallo has five GSC games remaining to earn a spot in the conference's postseason tournament.
  • With a 13-point performance against Union last time out, Lowman has now scored double figures in 20 of 22 games played this season.

CHRISTIAN BROTHERS
  •  Christian Brothers features three double-figure scorers with Nick Deifel leading the way with 13.3 points per game with Brad Miller (12.0) and Daryl Lewis (11.7) rounding out the trio for the Bucs.
  • The Bucs enter Saturday's game with the third-lowest scoring offense in the GSC with 67.7 points per game. Only Mississippi College (66.1) and West Florida (64.5) have a worse scoring mark than Christian Brothers. On the flip side, the CBU defense holds opponents to a 69.5 average a game.
  • Since dropping to Montevallo in January, Christian Brothers has gone 5-3 over its last eight GSC games with those three loses coming by a combined 14 points.
