CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The fourth-ranked Lee University Flames flexed their muscles Thursday night as Montevallo was on the wrong end of a 92-61 final score.

It was a one-point game after a first quarter that saw four lead changes and three ties, before both teams continued to trade the lead as a
Marisa Snodgrass 3-pointer tied the game at 15 with 6:21 remaining in the first half.
Shyan Flack, who finished with a team-high 14 points, pushed Montevallo ahead with a fast-break layup. However, Lee responded with a game-tying basket, then a go-ahead score on a 3-pointer by Haley Schubert, who scored 15 points for the Flames.
The 20-19 Lee lead ballooned to 35-26 by halftime, then ultimately 53-30 less than four minutes into the third quarter. Montevallo got its deficit down to 15 at 57-42 following another Flack basket at the two-minute mark of the third, but Lee pushed it back out to 16 by quarters end.
Aaliyah Rice converted an old-fashion three-point with 8:20 left in the game to make it 63-51, but Taylor Boggess, who was 5-of-6 from behind the 3-point arc, hit a 3-pointer to push it back to 15.
Jordan Jones cut the Falcon deficit, again, with a pair of free throws, but a quick 7-2 run made it an 18-point game midway through the fourth.
Kiya Sain sank a jumper to make it 75-60 with 3:49 remaining, then Lee went on a 17-1 scoring run over the game's final three minutes to put the game away.
