BARBOURVILLE, Ky - The University of Montevallo womens lacrosse team suffered a tough loss at the hands of Lincoln Memorial, Saturday at Williamson Stadium. 

The Falcons defense was persistent against LMU, forcing them to 21 turnovers and picking up 13 groundballs. 

Sophomore midfielder Anja Kuys led the Falcons in scoring, netting in four out of the nine Montevallo goals.  Freshman Ashley Shen was aggressive for UM scrapping for a team high 3 groundballs.  

NEXT UP: The Falcons will be in Birmingham for an instate match up against Birmingham Southern College on Tuesday March 3rd beginning at 7:00PM.
