MONTEVALLO, Ala - The Montevallo mens lacrosse team suffered a loss against Barton College after a hard fought match up.
The set the tone early with a goal from
Scott Friant within the first minute of gameplay. The Falcons would go on to outscore BC 7-6 in the first half.
Barton took the lead in the third quarter and went on to out score UM 5-0 in the quarter. That third Barton third quarter scoring spree made it tough for the Falcons to bounce back in the fourth quarter where they were out scored 3-1 by Barton.
Thomas Vaesen led the offensive effort knocking in 4 goals along with
Connor Frederick who scored 2 of Montevallo's 8 goals.
Jackson Neufeld and
Scott Friant both added a goal each to the Falcons score.
