Box Score WINTER HAVEN, FLA. - The Montevallo volleyball team came out swinging in their first match of the Gulf South Conference/Sunshine State Conference Crossover Tournament on Friday. The Falcons swept the Rollins Tars 25-22, 25-23, 25-22, to improve to 10-12 on the season. Rollins fell to 3-10.

Senior outside hitter Evelina Teran led the way for UM with 16 kills and 13 digs. Fellow senior Sav Roys returned to the lineup after missing a few games with an injury. She tallied 27 assists and 11 digs in her first match back in action.

The Falcons were sharp on offense, hitting .234, with a kill percentage of .421. The Falcons also had seven aces and 10 blocks in the match.

The Crossover continues on Saturday with the Falcons taking on Florida Tech and Saint Leo to round out the weekend.
