SERIES HISTORY SINCE 2017
Valdosta has won seven of the nine games between the two teams since December of 2017. The Falcons were victorious in the last meeting, beating the Blazers 78-70 on the road on February 6, 2021. VSU was ranked No. 5 in the nation coming into the game and it was only their second loss of the season. The win for UM also snapped a three game winning streak in the series for VSU.

MONTEVALLO
The Falcons notched a 92-64 win over Cumberland on Wednesday, snapping a two game losing streak.  Nearly every player that dressed scored in the game. Three players scored in double figures for the Falcons, led by senior Jordan Jones who finished with 17 points. She was 7-of-10 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range. Shyan Flack and Jennifer Andrew added 11 points each. The Falcons also were a perfect 14-for-14 from the freethrow line. In addition, UM forced 21 turnovers on defense

VALDOSTA STATE
A 22-4 deficit in the first quarter proved to be too much of a hurdle to overcome as the No. 15 Valdosta State women's basketball team dropped a 56-45 decision at No. 20 Lee Monday evening.  The loss snapped the Lady Blazers' five-game winning streak. Kwajelin Farrar had 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead VSU in the loss, while Lili Long added 11.
