SERIES HISTORY
The Falcons hold a 20-8 lead in the series, but the last eight games have been an even split. UWF won the last game 84-77 at Trustmark Arena. At one point in the series between 2005 and 2013, the Falcons won 15 out of 16 games.

The Falcons suffered their first conference loss of the season, 79-53 on Saturday evening. The Falcons fell to 5-7 and 3-1 in the Gulf South Conference, while the Blazers improved to 6-5 and 2-2. Braxton Bertolette had 15 points to lead UM, while James McNeil contributed 13. The Falcons overcame a double-digit deficit in the first half, but a decisive run by VSU put the game out of reach.

The Argonauts secured their tenth win of the season after a 74-69 victory over Auburn Montgomery. Brandon Burford led the way for the Argos with a season high 19 points. Brandon Burford finished the game with 20 points. Daniel Sofield scored 12 points and had a team high 10 rebounds.
