RECENT SERIES HISTORY
The two teams haven't met in over a year. Each meeting was postponed or canceled in 2020-21. The last game between the teams was on Jan. 18, 2020. The Falcons were victorious in that contest 64-59 in Montgomery. Shyan Flack had a double-double (16 pts, 14 reb) in the game, while Kiya Sain tallied 11 points. The UM win made it a split for the season as AUM won the first meeting at Trustmark, 69-50.

The Falcons are mired in a three-game losing skid, however, each setback came against some of the best teams in the country, No. 6 North Georgia, Clayton State, and Columbus State. Mixed in was an exhibition loss to Samford University. The Falcons were scheduled for a rematch against now 4th-ranked UNG at home earlier this week, but the game was canceled due COVID concerns on the Nighthawks.The last win for the Falcons came on Nov. 4, a 79-69 victory against West Georgia. The win capped off a three game winning streak for UM at the time.

AUBURN-MONTGOMERY
The Warhawks are riding a four game winning streak, which includes a 74-38 win over Southeastern Baptist College on Wednesday. The lone loss came in the season opener against LeMoyne Owen, 57-46. In the win over SBC, the Warhawks blew the game away in the second quarter, outscoring the Chargers 29-3. Catlin Carter led AUM with 14 points, while Kailyn Farrell added 10.
