MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Montevallo women's soccer team picked up a win, 4-0 in their Gulf South Conference debut against AUM.
Montevallo was aggressive in the initial minutes of the game. The Falcons went after four shots before
Kira Bochard found a way to put the first one in for UM.
The Falcons struck again after
Hannah Waki found
Allye Darnell for a goal making the score 2-0 with 16:42 left in the half.
UM kept control of the game in the early stages of the second half as an additional
Kira Bochard score gave the Falcon's a comfortable 3-0 lead over the Warhawks.
Kaitlyn Harvey netted her first career goal as a Falcon by way of
Espy Sanchez to secure the final score for Montevallo.
Annie Mason received the win at goal keeper as the Falcon defense kept the Warhawk goal attempts to zero.
