CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Montevallo womens lacrosse team took a 15-10 loss at the hands of the Lee University Flames, Sunday in Tennessee. With the loss the Falcons fall 5-2 with an 0-1 record in the GSC and Lee advances to 5-2.
The Falcons were out scored five to six in the first half and five to nine in the second. UM was outshot 33-24 by the Flames but held the advantage in ground balls with 17 to Lee's 16 pick ups.
Montevallo was led by
Anja Kuys (2 GB, 2 CT, DC),
Hailey Wilcox,
Rylee Horton, and
Eleanor Bruce (6 DC, GB) who netted two goals each.
Crystal Williams added a goal with a ground ball and a draw control along with
Kate Gammie-Baglini who contributed a goal.
UP NEXT: The Falcons will travel to Tigersville, SC for a match up against North Greenville on Thursday, March 25th with the first draw set for 2:00 PM.
