MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Montevallo women's lacrosse team fell 16-3 to the Alabama Huntsville Chargers, Tuesday at the Lacrosse Stadium.  With the loss the Falcons drop to 6-3 while the Chargers advance to 8-2.

The Falcons battled but had a tough time keeping the resilient Chargers out of the net during the game.  The Chargers took the lead early in the game and held on for the duration of the first half with a score of 10-2 headed into the halftime break. 

Montevallo contained UAH for less goals in the second half, but struggled to find goals of their own to match the Chargers momentum ending the game with a 16-3 score in favor of UAH.

The Falcons received major contributions from Anja Kuys who netted two goals with two ground balls, and a draw control.  Eleanor Bruce also put in a goal for the Falcons along with a ground ball and a caused turnover.
