Box Score 2 JACKSON, Tenn. - Resiliency is the theme of the day as the Montevallo Falcons bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Lindenwood (MO) to sweep Florida Tech 3-0 at the Union University Volleyball Classic. UM improved to 3-1 after the split on Saturday.
Next Up: The Falcons will play their first home match of the season on Wednesday, Sept. 8th against Spring Hill College. Gametime is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Trustmark Arena at the SAC.

Evelina Teran added to her weekend totals with 10 kills and seven digs as the Falcons rebounded from their first setback of the season with a convincing win. Sophomore middle blocker

Casey Hendrixson finished with 19 digs.

Three Falcons had double-digit kills, but it wasn't enough as UM lost their first match of the season.
Evelina Teran led the Falcons with 18 kills and 11 digs.
Allie Dishman added 12 kills and three blocks (2 solo) and sophomore hitter
Macy Martin tallied 10 kills.
Sav Roys had 23 assists, two aces and 11 digs, while
Colton Thompson finished with 19 assists.
Casey Hendrixson led the defense with 20 digs. She also had two aces.
Teran and Dishman earn All-Tournament honors

Allie Dishman earned All-Tournament team honors for their performances during the Union University Classic. In the four matches, in which the Falcons won 3-of-4, Teran pilied up 46 kills, hitting 3.54 in 13 sets. She was also solid on defense with 34 digs. Dishman was second on the team during the tournament, finishing with 32 kills, notching 2.67/set.
