SERIES HISTORY
This series dates all the way back to 1973 when Montevallo defeated UAH 86-82. The Chargers lead the series 41-37 and have won seven of the last 11 games between the two teams, UAH had won six in a row coming in the last meeting on January 6, but the Falcons snapped the streak with a .75-65 win in Montevallo.  The longest winning streak in the series is 10 games for Montevallo between 2004 and 2008.

Braxton Bertolette exploded for a career-high 33 points, but it wasn't enough as the Falcons lost to West Georgia, 97-87. Late freethrows doomed UAH in a 71-70 loss to Union, then Auburn-Montgomery outlasted the Chargers 107-97 in double-overtime in their last game. Four different Chargers scored in double figures in the loss to AUM. Max Shulman led with 23 points, Chaney Johnson added 20, Luke Burnett 16 and Auston Leslie contributed 15.
