SERIES HISTORY
The Falcons lead the series between the two teams 9-6. UM has won the last two games, beating the Bucs in Memphis 76-67 and 76-74 in a nail-biter at Trustmark Arena last season.

The Falcons have bounced back from a pair of road losses before the Christmas break to claim back to back wins at home. On Thursday night, the Falcons shot a sizzling 64% from 3-point range in the second half en route to a 75-65 win over in-state foe Alabama-Huntsville. The win vaulted UM into a tie for third place in the Gulf South Conference with West Florida. Four Falcons scored in double-figures, led by guard Xavier Malcom who led all scorers with a game-high 23 points. Malcom knocked down 8-of-15 fieldgoals, including seven from downtown. Braxton Bertolette hit four 3-pointers and finished with 17 points. Meanwhile Travarus Carroll tallied 16 points, six rebounds and five assists and Aaris-Monte Bonds contributed 10 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots.
