MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo women's soccer's Kaeri Ward and men's swimming's Jacob Rubin have been named Montevallo Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 24.
 
Kaeri Ward (Women's Soccer)
The senior midfielder helped lead Montevallo to an undefeated weekend with two goals and four points in the Falcons' final road trip of the regular season. Ward scored the opening goal in the 20th minute of UM's 2-0 win over Valdosta State on Friday, Oct. 21. She then scored the tying goal with a penalty kick in the final minute of the match in Montevallo's 1-1 draw with West Georgia on Sunday, Oct. 23.
 
Jacob Rubin (Men's Swimming)
The senior swimmer notched four podium finishes in the Falcons' meets with Berry and Emmanuel. Rubin took second-place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.92 before taking third in the 50-yard free with a time of 21.37. The Jacksonville Beach, Florida native then grabbed back-to-back second-place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (46.66) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:17.25).
