Box Score CLEVELAND, Miss. – Montevallo men's soccer secured the No. 4 seed in the Gulf South Conference tournament with a 2-1 win over Delta State, Tuesday, in Cleveland, Miss.

With the win, the Falcons will host AUM on Sunday, Oct. 30, in the first round of the conference tournament at 6 p.m. at Varsity Field.
 
Montevallo finishes the regular season 8-4-3 overall and 7-4 in conference action.
 
Simon Whittman scored the first goal of the contest to lift Montevallo ahead, 1-0. After Delta State tied the score 1-1, Brock Barbee scored the game-winner and secured first-round hosting privileges for the tournament. Both goals were assisted by Edin Hernandez.
