LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Montevallo dropped its third consecutive match in Gulf South Conference play, 1-0 to West Alabama, in Livingston, Sunday.
For the second straight game and just the second time this season, the Falcons were held scoreless. Montevallo tallied 13 total shots but placed just three on frame.
After 62 minutes of scoreless play, West Alabama broke open the scoring when Patrick Sacher found the back-of-the-net on a header.
In the final four minutes the Falcons recorded four shots but were unable to place any on goal. In the 84' minute
Edorta Cabieces Sanz fired a shot that hit the crossbar. Montevallo was unable to put a shot on goal in the final 39 minutes.
