SERIES HISTORY
UM is 4-1 against MC since January 2018. The Falcons have won the last two meetings, including the last one back in December at the SAC. The Falcons edged the Choctaws 69-67 behind junior guard James McNeil, who led the Falcons with 17 points, five rebounds, four steals, and two assists. Mason Shifflett also provided critical minutes for UM, putting up 14 points with seven boards, and two steals.

GSC TOURNAMENT SCRAMBLE
The Falcons are in a log jam in the GSC standing, locked in a three-way tie for fourth place with West Florida and West Georgia at 10-7. The teams are also knocking on Lee University's door. The Flames are looking over their shoulder at the wave of competitors, sitting in third place at 9-6. The top four teams in the GSC at the end of the regular season will host the first round of the tournament. While the Falcons battle Mississippi College, West Florida hosts Shorter and West Georgia is off until they host Alabama-Huntsville on Saturday afternoon.

MONTEVALLO
The Falcons have won their last four games, including a pair of hard fought wins over West Florida and Valdosta State last week. In the 79-73 win over VSU, five Falcons scored in double-figures, led by guard Braxton Bertolette, who finished the game with 21 points. Forward Aaris-Monte Bonds muscled his way to a double-double, dropping in 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, Jason King added 15 points, James McNeil tallied 13 points and senior guard Xavier Malcom contributed 12 points and four assists.
