WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Montevallo women's lacrosse team fell 18-6 to a tough Rollins College unit.  With the loss the Falcons slip to 3-6 while Tars advance to 8-0.  
 
The Tars took control of the game in the first quarter setting off an 8-0 run with 3:11 left in the period.  

The Falcons found an answer from Hailey Wilcox and Lily McCormick as they sank UM's first two goals towards the end of the quarter.  
 
The Tars added to its lead in the second quarter as they outscored the Falcons 5-2, setting the score to 13-3 at the halftime break.  
 
The Falcons kept fighting in the second half, putting together three additional scores but it wouldn't be enough to overcome Rollins firepower.  
 
UP NEXT: Montevallo will head to Melbourne, Florida to face Florida Tech with the first draw set for Monday, March 21st at 7pm EST.
