ROME, Ga. - The Montevallo men's lacrosse team flew past Shorter, 28-8 Saturday afternoon in Rome. With the win the Falcons advance to 6-7, and 1-2 in the Peach Belt Conference.

Griffin Brennan (3); Connor Frederick(2), Coleman Hargis (2), Bryce Pegram (2), Jackson Houston (2), Henry Casement (2), Jack Morris (2), Jackson Klewchuk (1), Kordell Primus (1), Nolan Rutty (1), Jake Travis (1), Kevin Harvey (1) netted goals for Montevallo to contribute to the 20-goal victory.
1st Quarter
The Falcons were undeniable in the first quarter, outscoring the Hawks 10-1.
2nd Quarter
Montevallo showed no signs of losing the upper hand, adding nine extra goals to take Shorter by a comfortable 19-3 halftime lead.
Second Half
The Falcons never lost the edge for the remainder of the game after firing off nine goals in the half compared to five from SU.
