MONTEVALLO - The Montevallo women's lacrosse team fell 14-9 against Lee, Saturday afternoon at home.  With the loss the Falcons drop to 3-9 and 0-3 in conference.

UP NEXT:  UM will hit the road to take on Young Harris College, with the first draw set for Saturday, April 9th at 5:00 PM EST.

The game was tight in the first quarter as UM managed to hold a 4-3 lead over the Flames at the end of the period.

Both teams continued to trade goals in the second but the Falcons worked for a 6-5 lead by halftime.

Neither team got far from each other in the third but the Flames took the lead 9-8 by the end of the  quarter.

Lee took off in the fourth quarter, outscoring Montevallo five goals to one to earn the victory.
