MONTEVALLO, Ala. -- The Montevallo women's tennis team won their fifth consecutive match on Friday, defeating Valdosta State 5-2. The Falcons improved to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in the Gulf South Conference, while VSU slipped to 7-10 and 6-3.

Next up: The Falcons host Mississippi College on Saturday at the UM Tennis Center. It's SEA OF PURPLE day at the courts. The match is scheduled for 11 a.m.
