MONTEVALLO, Ala. --- University of Montevallo head swimming coach Aaron Mahaney announced the hiring of Scott Griffith as assistant coach. Griffith comes to Montevallo from Florida International as a volunteer assistant. He is a graduate of Delta State University where he earned a degree in Marketing with a minor in history. During his stint at FIU, Griffith assisted with training and developed training workouts. He helped FIU capture their 8th consecutive conference championship. Prior to his arrival at FIU, Griffith was an assistant coach at the Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club.
